Get Free Educational Materials at “Toys that Teach” Event!

TOYS THAT TEACH, a special giveaway event

We are thrilled to invite you to our upcoming giveaway event specifically designed for early childhood educators and providers! We will offer new and gently used materials to those in attendance. Reserve your spot to attend this exciting event on Saturday, September 28th, from 10:30 am to 2:00 pm at Connections for Children (CFC).

Toys that Teach is not just a giveaway – it’s also an opportunity for us to connect and collaborate in new and meaningful ways. The Trauma-Informed Programs team will be present to share helpful tips for incorporating your hand-picked materials into your learning environment through various trauma-informed practices. Implementing trauma-informed practices in early care and education settings is an important step in creating a supportive environment that fosters healthy emotional development in all young children. Toys that Teach is a great opportunity to explore various resources that can enrich your services and programs.

Items to be distributed include CFC swag, books, tables, toys, art supplies, soft blocks, and other developmentally appropriate items that can be used in your childcare setting/classroom. Materials will be distributed on a “first-come, first-served" basis. Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about the diverse range of services offered by Connections for Children.

We look forward to deepening our partnerships with child care providers and educators to enhance support for children and families.

To ensure your spot at this exciting event, please RSVP here by September 23rd, 2024.
