Family Child Care Environmental Rating Scale 101 (OSAD/Module4)

This workshop will cover a broad overview of the Family Child Care Environment Rating Scale (FCCERS) Revised Edition. We will review the Subscales: Space and Furnishings, Personal Care Routines, Listening and Talking, Activities, Interaction, Program Structure, and Parents and Provider. Through open discussion and self-reflection activities, participants will learn strategies for integrating key concepts of the FCCERS into their current practice to ensure protection of children’s health and safety, appropriate stimulation through language and activities, and warm, supportive interactions.
